Order a Key by VIN — Mail-Order Keys from DV Connections Auto Keys LLC
Trust, Convenience and Security. DV Connections Auto Keys LLC offers mail-order car keys cut from your vehicle's VIN. This service is for customers who need a correctly cut key shipped to them.
What we need from you
To order a key by VIN, please provide:
- VIN number
- Vehicle registration number
- State where the vehicle is registered
- A photo of the vehicle registration and a photo of the buyer's photo ID
Verification and approval
The name on the registration must match the person placing the order. Every order is verified before cutting (NASTF Positive ID). After the information is verified, the customer receives an approval email with their order number, and only then is the key code obtained, the key cut, and the key shipped.
How it works
1. You provide your VIN number, vehicle registration number, state where the vehicle is registered, a photo of the vehicle registration, and a photo of your photo ID.
2. We verify the information. After verification, you will receive an approval email with your order number.
3. Only after approval, we obtain the key code for your vehicle.
4. We cut the key to that code.
5. We ship the cut key to you.
Important notice — cut, not programmed
Keys ordered by VIN are sold CUT, NOT PROGRAMMED, unless programming is arranged as a separate mobile service in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, or Connecticut. A cut-only key will not start a vehicle that requires programming until it is programmed. If you need programming, contact us to arrange a separate mobile service in RI/MA/CT.

Please note: Not every vehicle's key code can be retrieved by VIN — key code availability is not guaranteed for all makes, models, and years. If we cannot obtain your key code, we will work to find another way to make your key. If we still cannot complete your order, you will receive a full refund.
